It is that time of year again...open enrollment for Medicare-D prescription drug plans.  November 15 is the date to mark on your calendar!  This is when you are eligible to change your current coverage.  If you reached your “donut-hole” (see story below), or have had medication changes; you may need to change your coverage.  This year has brought about new generic equivalents for a number of top-selling drugs.
   These new generics could significantly impact your choice of coverage.  If you reached your gap in coverage or were affected by one of the new generic products on the market, now may be the time to consider the CommunityCareRx prescription drug plan.  This plan offers different groups that allow for gap coverage, 90-days supply and even a plan with no co-pay for generic drugs!

   The donut-hole is the gap in coverage between $2400-$3850. This is when patients will realize a jump in their co-pays to a higher percentage or no coverage at all!

   Prices on digital cameras are falling at Axline Photo! 
   Canon has reduced the price on it’s most popular digital SLR, the EOS Rebel XTi. This camera comes with a 18-55S lens and is a 10.1 megapixel with a 2.5 inch monitor. The price has been reduced by $100.00 making the selling price $799.99 making this the best time to jump into digital SLR photography.
   Another popular camera that has dropped in price is the Canon PowerShot A560. The A560 is a 7.1 megapixel camera with a 4x optical zoom, DigicIII image processor with face detection and a 2.5 inch monitor. The price of the PowerShot A560 has dropped $20 to a new price of only $149.99.
   The last camera with a price reduction is the Canon PowerShot SD850IS Digital Elph. The SD830 is a small pocket sized camera with 8 megapixel and a 4X optical zoom. The image stabilization (IS) feature helps you produce better pictures in low light conditions or if you are not so steady yourself. You will also appreciate the high resolution 2.5 inch pure color LCD with scratch-resistant, anti-reflection coating for easier, durable viewing. The PowerShot SD850IS has been reduced by $50 making it now only $349.99.
   We have a new portable printer in the store called the Canon Selphy CP740. The CP740 is a dye-sub printer, just like our Kodak Picture Maker. The print cost is around 28 cents for a 4x6 print. The CP740 can print from compatible memory cards, the digital camera itself or wirelessly through an optional Bluetooth connection. It retails for $99.00 and is available at our photo department today.
